(incomplete)

Context

In the case of old collections the amount and value of the meta-data will vary greatly, this is in part due to varying policies and in part due to the nature of the old collections, for instance [:../Newspaper_Collections: Newspaper collections] have mouch of the meta-data embedded in the papers pages, also many one paper have many pages, and thus some data will be relevant to an entire . An almost oposite example is the [:../TV_Commercials_Colelctions: TV Commercials Collections] where the are lots of meta-data for each item, due to the fact that the differences are plentiful and supple.

There are cases where [:../Meta_collections: Meta Collections] will exist at the DOMS level, for instance the [:../Newspaper_Collections: Newspaper collections] will consist of a series of different papers in different editions from different days, the [:../Meta_collections: Meta Collections] contained within the [:../Newspaper_Collections: Newspaper collections] is the individual scanned papers, in individual editions from the individual days.
