2008-10-13 DOMS Status Meeting
Mjølner developer meeting
- We discussed the Mjølner developer meeting of last week, which KFC didn't attend. Went through the minutes from the meeting.
- We had a discusion about whether we can do without multiple inheritance (Mjølner would prefer this).
- The DOMS team so far insists on keeping multiple inheritance. We do not feel like limiting the model, and we do not (yet) see the problem at Mjølners end of the project. We need to hear from Mjølner exactly why they cannot live with multiple inheritance.
- Mjølners assumed way of uploading files only from a shared drive didn't seem practical for users, to the DOMS team. We need to discuss this with Mjølner.
- We had a discusion about whether we can do without multiple inheritance (Mjølner would prefer this).
Datamodel
- Datamodel-questions from EK. A few nmisunderstandings were cleared between EK and DOMS developers.
- EK visited a metadata-conference. Didn't get much useful response on metadata concerning audio/video. EK might do something about it herself.
- Relations in DC will not be used. We have RDF for that.
Milestone
- Iteration 13 overview. (Aka. upcoming milestone overview) Friday is our deadline for delivering to Mjølner. We discussed what to cut in order to deliver in time. Everybody knows what to work on. Let's go.
