Verify Search and playback of Radio-TV Objects

Run through the below steps in order to verify that "Search" works properly and i capable of searching and perform play-back of the Radio-TV objects in the DOMS.

  • Enter a search string in the search field (e.g. "nyheder", "tv-avisen" or the like) and confirm that you get a list of results.
  • When/if you get a list of results for your query, then you will see a box labelled "Afgræns din søgning", to the left of the result list. This box contains a list of "facets" from which you can select one or more, in order to limit the search. Select one or more facets and verify that the number of search results in the list is reduced.
  • Verify that there is one or more full record's among the search results and select some of them for viewing. Ensure that you get both radio and TV results tested by verifying the below for each tested search result:
    • Verify that the transcoding of the radio/TV clip or that that the transcoding job has been queued. However, this requires that the machine you are using is allowed to access the clip. If that is not the case then you should get a notification telling you so.
    • Verify that an embedded media player emerges on the selected result page which allows you to watch/listen to the clip, however, without allowing seeking forward/backward in the clip.
    • Verify that it, after a while, becomes possible to perform a forward/backward seek in the clip that you are playing and verify that it is indeed possible to do so.
