2. Milestone plan
KFC goes through the milestone plan.
Feedback is needed on the priority and scheduling of the individual tasks.
3. Next iterations
KFC presents the plan for the next two iterations.
4. Manning
TE+MKE+BAM will be needed for the Summa project. What is the current plan for their assignment to the DOMS project?
Will it be possible to retain MKE+TE for the iteration December 15 - early January, and then phase them out to only be assigned to DOMS on demand (i.e. Summa integration)
5. Major risks
KFC presents what is currently identified as the top 3 risks, and the plan to counter these.
6. Open Sourcing
We have identified that open sourcing a previously internal project takes time.
Would it be a good idea to immediately move DOMS to gforge?
It would of course not be possible to do for our internal collections.
7. Steering group and advisory board formalisation
It is suggested that steering group meetings are held at the end of each iteration (once in every approx. 3 weeks).
Is the formalisation of BJA+BCD as steering group the ideal solution? Should we include e.g. EFJ?
Should we establish an advisory board, to advise us on what is currently the most pressing matters for the library?
Suggested participants include EK, OB, EFJ, and possibly KB and LAH. More needed? Someone from Statens Avissamling?
8. The Fedora project
Current plan for formalising the Fedora phase 3 project is to share project lead with DOMS. Fedora actions will be planned together with DOMS actions, although project plan, estimates, and source code etc. will be kept separate. Does this seem like a reasonable idea?
Who will be assigned to the Fedora project? I understand KFC will be parttime on Fedora. It is suggested that KFC is then reduced in time on webarchiving. We need at least one more person. Should we discuss this internally in the DOMS group for who would like to be part of this project?
9. Media Department Workflow System
KFC has been to meetings with media department about acquiring a new digitisation workflow system.
There is some confusion about what is expected of DOMS and what is workflow system needs. Possibly we have most of the tools needed. Could the money be converted to development money for DOMS plugins (e.g. GUI)
