Description
In order to ingest collections, it is necessary to extract metadata from some external datasource (legacy system or ingest system).
DOMS does not expect to solve this for any collections, though the functionality from A.4.2 and the documentation from D.1.3 describes the needed steps.
It is also the role of DOMS to provide a generic framework for extracting metadata from an external datasource and creating FoxML objects from it.
