Analysis of "Uncover needed changes from the users perspective" Task
In order to evaluate the extent to which the GUI needs to be altered a proper analysis of the user needs are required. This analysis will have its origin in the original evaluations performed for the current version of the GUI. Users will be interviewed in relation to the original analysis document and the needed design changes will be revealed through an iterative process of evaluate <--> evolve
Prerequisites and Assumptions
The task assumes that the original analysis document for the GUI design is available and has sufficient detail to be of use.
The task assumes that the needed resources are allocated in order to allow for proper evaluation and assessment of user needs and wishes.
The current GUI will be the basis for the evaluation and previous assessments of user needs will will be evaluated before any further analysis is carried out.
