Install-sequence for parts of the DOMS system, including its environment

The sequence in which each part should be installed, for integration of DOMS with Radio/TV.

Step 1

The following three can be installed in any order

• Install DOMS Testbed

• Install DigiTV

• Install IP Role-mapper

Step 2

• Install DOMS Ingester

  • depends on DOMS Testbed

• Install Summa (backend)

  • depends on DOMS Testbed

Step 3

• Install Wowza with plugins

  • depends on DOMS Testbed and Broadcast Extraction Service (BES)

  • For installation instructions, see Release note for Wowza plugin version 1.0

• Install Broadcast Extraction Service (BES)

  • depends on Wowza with plugins and DOMS Testbed

Step 4

• Install Web frontend (Radio/TV DOMS Portal)

  • depends on Broadcast Extraction Service (BES), Wowza with plugins, Summa (backend), IP Role-mapper and DOMS Testbed

Locations of different parts (in integration test)

• DOMS Testbed

  • Auth checker: port 7980, otherwise "as usual"
  • Ticket issuer: port 7980, otherwise "as usual"

• IP Role-mapper: port 7950, otherwise "as usual"

• Wowza with plugins

  • Streaming URL:
    • rtmp://iapetus:1937/doms
    • rtmp://iapetus:1937/domslive
  • Media files location:
    • iapetus:/home/doms/streamingContent
    • iapetus:/home/doms/streamingContentLive
