March Meetings

March 1st

Kåre, Toke and Bolette held a meeting on the 1st of March (2007). We discussed contentmodel and a few other things:

• Filetype should be renamed to Fileformat (example updated Mar 28)
• Formathierarkies should be possible; 'extendsformat' relation (e.g. '24 bit baseline tiff' extendsformat 'baseline tiff' extendsformat 'tiff')
• An object has at least one 'isPartOfProject' relation, and a new 'isPartOfProject' relation should be added whenever an existing object is used in a new project
• Type_non-project should be renamed to Type_part_of_project (example updated Mar 28)
• Type-versioning is possible, though not desirable?
• The project 'radioavismanuskripter' should be renamed to 'ram' (example updated Mar 28)
• SBDC? Should we define an 'SB Dublin Core datastream' including qualifications? Should SBDC be required or recommended? Should a map be defined from SBDC or from project specific DC to Fedora DC (Fedora Adm.)?
• Collections?!?

March 22nd

We held another meeting on the 22nd of March. Kåre gave a report of the recent Fedora summit. We planned a 'DOMS-week' after Easter. I have booked the 10th to the 13th of April in your calenders. This week should result in a plan, and possibly a working example?
