1. Higher Level APIs for creating objects, Uploading files, RI lookups, and CM lookups
It was agreed that these are needed, and should be externalised. We agreed the first step is to define the needed APIs. Who should implement these APIs is not decided. KFC said they would be pressed for time, if this needed to be done. Jon did not know if they had the time to do it, Jakob needs to be involved.
SB will not look at this before Friday, Mjølner may do so.
2. Multiple Inheritance
KFC says that disallowing Multiple Inheritance was impossible, since this is a feature of Fedora. In fact, inheritance doesn't exist at all, only subscription to multiple content models. Inheritance is defined by the DOMS team; and inheritance is defined to mean that subscription to a "child" implies that you must also subscribe to a "father" and all "ancestors".
Jon would talk to Lennert, who will send examples on why multiple inheritance is a problem.
3. Misc
KFC reported that Friday's milestone will contain documented WSDLs and APIs.
It was discussed that we do not use the word Prototyping, but rather Templates.
KFC will send the minutes from JRG and ABR to Jon etc., it includes some thoughts on the needed higher-level APIs.
