Radio-TV Ingester Installation
Installation of the radio-tv ingester is as simple as unpacking the .zip file containing the release bundle:
unzip radio-tv-bin.zip
You now have these directories:
drwxr-xr-x 2 fedora fedora 4096 Nov 25 14:31 bin drwxr-xr-x 2 fedora fedora 4096 Sep 22 13:42 config drwxr-xr-x 2 fedora fedora 4096 Sep 20 14:14 lib
of which you are only interested in the bin directory. It is tempting to believe that the ingester configuration resides in the config directory, however, the configuration you will need to make, must be made in the bin directory.
By default the ingester will create a files directory, containing 4 sub-directories - among these the ingest hot-folder, from which it will read the pre-ingest files. However, all this can be modified/configured according to the description in the Configuration section.
