Internal Content Owners
Interest in The DOMS Project
The content owners want a system for storing all digital material with maximum accessibility. They would like the system to have a flexible metadatamodel capable of fulfilling non-homogeneous needs. The DOMS to be able to integrate with workflow systems supporting their work.
Success Criteria
Every existing and coming digital material to be stored in DOMS.
The Metadata for digital files can be modelled in a datamodel relevant to each specific collection.
The DOMS can integrate with workflow tools for
- ingest
- manipulation/restoration of digital material
They have tools for maintaining metadata for the digital material.
Precautionary Measures
Need to have regular dialogues to uncover workflows and requirements.
